Business Association

Set up by Cre8te, the Craigmillar District Business Association (CDBA) is a membership-led initiative aimed at promoting, servicing and representing the interests of the local business community. Its primary objective is to provide a local networking and information forum for established businesses, local entrepreneurs and individuals within the Greater Craigmillar area. The CDBA keeps a close and constant watch on developments within Craigmillar business environment, offering advice and support on the regeneration of the area and providing an effective lobbying group for its members whenever necessary.

 The CDBA aims to –

• Stimulate business to business contact and trade
• Secure and create local jobs
• Deliver a dedicated up-skilling scheme
• Provide information to local businesses
• Host discussion forums on local business issues
• Provide an effective lobbying group
• Liaise with businesses, projects/ partners and the local community
• Raise the profile of Craigmillar citywide, nationally and internationally
